Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC

Tasting Notes
Nebbiolo is the grape variety from which some of the greatest wines like Barolo and Barbaresco are obtained.
It is characterized by a good, but sweet, level of tannin, elegant violet aromas, small berries and spices.
It’s the ideal wine not only for important meals but also when in good company in the evening by the fireplace.
Color: medium intensity ruby with light orange reflections.
Aroma: ample with floral notes of violets and fruity raspberry and cherry, tobacco, licorice.
Flavor: full slightly dry, savory with a pleasant finale of purple.
Food pairing: excellent with beef, pork and chicken. As an antipasto it goes well with cold cuts and cheeses. Finally, it goes very well risottos, pasta and lasagna.
